Today I’m wearing too many clothes for July, but let’s not dwell on the non-existent summer.
My bronze windcheater by Christopher Raeburn has been a wardrobe staple this season. When I became a proud owner of it last Christmas, I didn’t think it would take me from Paris Fashion Week to the middle of summer. But it has, and I am thinking that this upcycled garment ranks number one for getting about stylishly in the rain. The crisp whites are Monkee Genes and the vintage, lambswool batwing jumper was a birthday gift. I don’t know who it is by, just that the designer my friend bought it from takes vintage knitwear and customises them with beading and in some cases appliqué patchwork.
The vintage Christian Dior bag is a hand-me-down from my mother who’s always had great taste in handbags.
i really like this post
