This is Simon. He has splendid style. I love the tattoos and the perfectly groomed tache. The jacket suits him- skinny lapels and the plaid collar make me think of Bronski Beat. I spotted him because he exuded a quiet confidence and an air of sophistication. He wasn’t hiding behind an iPhone or a Blackberry, no, he was sitting there enjoying a glass of wine and observing the scene around him. He was, for that moment in time, a flaneur (look it up).
There isn’t a lot out there for men’s sustainable fashion but this is slowly changing. I do think that Seasalt in Cornwall are good for a checked shirt. If you are to buy only one jacket it should be from new menswear label TOBEFRANK – they’re awesome.

You’re right, there hasn’t been a lot out there for me. Which is why we’ve launched! Arthur & Henry does beautiful, ethical shirts for men. Organic cotton. Shirts you can wear to work, wear to the pub, wear on a date….. http://www.arthurandhenry.com
